Electrostatics

The first Class 12 unit of the JEE Main 2027 Physics syllabus and one of the highest scorers (typically 9-11% of the paper). It covers electric charge and Coulomb's law, the electric field and field lines, the electric dipole, electric flux and Gauss's law with its standard applications, electric potential and potential energy, equipotential surfaces, conductors and dielectrics, and capacitance including combinations of capacitors and the energy stored.
