Chapter 8: Properties of Solids and Liquids

The seventh unit of the JEE Main 2027 Physics syllabus and one of its biggest scorers (typically 9-11% of the paper). It brings together elasticity (stress, strain and the elastic moduli), fluid statics (pressure, Pascal's law and buoyancy), fluid dynamics (viscosity, Stokes' law, the equation of continuity and Bernoulli's principle), surface tension and capillarity, and the thermal properties of matter (thermal expansion, calorimetry and heat transfer).

Chapter 11: Oscillations and Waves
