Oscillations and Waves

The tenth and final Class 11 unit of the JEE Main 2027 Physics syllabus. It covers periodic and simple harmonic motion (the defining relation, velocity, acceleration and energy), the mass-spring system and simple pendulum, and then wave motion: transverse and longitudinal waves, the wave equation, the speed of a wave on a string and of sound in a gas, the superposition principle, standing waves in strings and organ pipes, and beats.
