NEET 2027 · Botany · Chapter 5
Morphology of Flowering Plants
One of the highest-yield NEET Botany chapters (typically 3-4 questions/year). It covers the external structure of the flowering plant - the root, the stem and the leaf and their modifications; the inflorescence (racemose vs cymose); the flower in detail (symmetry, position of the ovary, calyx, corolla and aestivation, androecium and gynoecium with placentation); the fruit and the seed; the floral formula and diagram; and the three important families - Fabaceae, Solanaceae and Liliaceae. Six practice sets - two Easy, two Medium, one Hard and one NEET previous-year set, each opening with comprehensive NCERT-anchored notes and diagrams that together cover 100% of the syllabus.
