Animal Kingdom is a precision-heavy NCERT chapter. NEET mainly tests exact diagnostic characters, organism-to-group mapping and named exceptions. Revise the chapter as a comparison grid rather than as isolated paragraphs.

NEET Exam Approach
First identify the phylum or class from its most specific diagnostic feature. Then test every remaining statement against NCERT wording. In match-the-column questions, anchor the pairs you know with certainty and eliminate the incompatible combinations. In multi-statement questions, judge each statement independently before combining them.
[NEET Important] Treat words such as all, only, always and never as warning signs. One NCERT exception is enough to make an absolute statement incorrect.
